The game is almost finished. The scenario is written, the graphics all done and we are now coding it all in the game engine. But there is one thing missing. English translation. With the "A Grain of truth" game we were given a helping hand by Maria Barć, but unfortunatelly we lost contact with her (if You are reading this Maria please contact us :) ). We could really us some help in translating the game from polish to english. The game is quite long (about 80pages of script) so it would be a lot of work but the alternative is playing the game with broken english as pretty as this blog.

Sadly I don't know any polish. Hopefully you can find someone to help, I can't wait to play the game
ReplyDeletekeep up the good work:)
ReplyDeleteYour English on the blog isn't broken imo. I don't know Polish but from what I've seen with other freely translated games your best bet is talking about your project on some Polish forum, gaming site, etc. As I don't know the language I don't know such forums.
ReplyDeleteAt this point I could play it even like a roughly translated Japanese visual novel anyway, heh.
Zmęczony nieprzespaną nocą odżywam, a humor powraca, gdy się okazuje, że gra jednak będzie ukończona. Czekam! :-)
ReplyDeleteOmg! Yay!! I've been checking up all the time for the updates. I'm so excited! Can't wait to play ^-^ Thank you thank you thank you! <3
ReplyDeleteSort of unrelated, but I was wondering where to get more information on the main menu song in the demo? The credits list Sakari-Infinity, but it's a dead website. I've managed to get to some of the website of the individual artists by finding links on Sakari-Infinity via the wayback machine, but none of the songs sound like the main menu song.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried talking to Mateusz Skutnik about whom he works with on translating his games and comics?
ReplyDeleteWell. Mateusz is Czech. These guys are Polish.
DeleteWow!!! I can't wait for the game to come out :-)
ReplyDeleteI agree that Mateusz Skutnik could be a good lead to get help with the translation.
Poland != Cezech Republic
DeleteI'm so excited! I hope you can find someone soon :)
ReplyDeleteI'll play the other two games again to remember them and the whole plot. But I remember how much I enjoyed them and am really happy to know that a new one is coming soon.
ReplyDeleteSuper excited for the game!! I can hardly stand waiting !!
ReplyDeleteVery excited, glad you kept it going. How is the new music?
ReplyDeleteVery excited, glad you kept it going. How is the new music?
ReplyDeleteI don't know about Polish, but I can help with Russian to English.
ReplyDeleteI am very excited indeed. Thanks for keeping at it!
ReplyDeleteHave you found a Translator by now?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I only know German and English. (I actually did translate another Adventure-Game just recently.)
Alternatively, you could indeed translate the Script into broken English and then let somebody else correct it.
Would love to see more amazing stories like this one.
